Mike Atherton is a Certified Executive Chef, who has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture, with Hotel Restaurant and Institution Management classes from Michigan State University.  Over the past thirty years he has been an Executive Manager, Executive Chef, and Caterer in the hotel and restaurant industry.  As a certified Executive Chef he is a member of the American Culinary Federation.  He has been awarded Chef of the Year in Indianapolis and also has served on the council of the American Culinary Federation.  Mike's hobbies include cooking, eating, running, and sports.  He also enjoys family time and holidays.

Cathy assists her husband in running their company.  She works along with the Propylaeum Club to coordinate Catered by Chef Mike events.  She truly cares about each person that holds an event at The Propylaeum and provides her own personal touch at times.  She enjoys being a mom to her now adult children, spending time with family, cooking, and doing crafts.  
Recently their daughter had her wedding reception at the Indianapolis Propylaeum Club.
