Propylaeum House Rules
Policies
Regarding Events at the Propylaeum:
1. Alcohol Policy- The Propylaeum is the sole licensee permitted by the State of Indiana to serve alcohol at the Propylaeum.
The Caterers are authorized by the Propylaeum to dispense alcoholic beverages.
Anyone who attempts to bring his or her own
alcoholic beverages will be asked leave.
2. Because of rules and regulations of the
Indiana Health Department no on is
allowed
to bring or take home any food from the event.
The Caterers’ staff is
not
authorized to ignore these rules. The
client will take any alcohol or unopened
soda
left over after the event at the moment of exit. The Propylaeum Staff or the
Caterers Staff cannot be responsible for any alcohol left behind.
3. No open Flame candles are to be used except in the middle of the eating tables or
As a centerpiece, if a guest wants candles on the fireplace or anywhere else in the house they have to be in a Votives Candle Holder.
(This container holds the whole candle inside).
4.Propylaeum
Candelabras are not to be used.
5.
No types of confetti or sprinkles are to be used in the house or on the
property.
The Propylaeum Club now rents a Dance Floor in
the SE Room for $150.00 by Rolling up the Rug.
Prior to your event, a $500.00 Damage Deposit is due in our Club Office, and is held, not cashed,
during your event with 100
people or more. It is refundable after
the event if no damage is found.
These Rules must be adhered to and are set forth
by the Indianapolis Propylaeum Club Board and Catering Sales Manager.
